Joy, my first Siberian, giving directions (escape plan, maybe?) to Cara Jesse, Shad's older half brother at 18 months with a 4 week old nephew... I miss them all terribly, still, and they've all been gone for quite a while - Joy & Jess for about 10 years, Cara a little less. I "yelled" at Joy when she moved for that photo - back before digital cameras - I thought she'd spoiled the shot! Was soooo amused when I got the roll developed, though! Jess was a real sweetie - huge boy, way over standard, but the most gentle guy around, and very much dominant dog without ever having to posture or prove it! I hate to say that I have favorites, but I guess it's like anything else with family - you love 'em all, but you LIKE some more than others - that dog, Jess, was one I bonded with more than I have some others! He was really cool! Could get out of any crate, short of a padlock (he didn't destroy them, just opened them); he could even take a leash snap off, then open the gate. SMART dog!!!
