Always hungry

Can anyone help, Roo seems to be constently hungry at the moment she just seems to want to eat all the time, she's nearly 6 months old and she has 2 meals a day of raw diet which is about 450g in total she has 3 walks each day but still seems chubby . Any one know if this is normal dont want to over feed her but she just really seems hungry an her meals last no time at all.

have u tried feeding her dry kibbles instead of raw diet? dry kibble might be more filling and stays in her system longer.

you can also tray some vegetables (ie. carrot, broccli etc) they take longer to digest too so she wouldn't be as hungry.

the amount seems ok, do you vary the raw food? maybe they prefer one meat

she has had kibble in the past and it really doesnt agree with her, as for her raw diet she has differant meats and veg but she eats it so fast sometimes not even chewing. but the other day she ate half a loaf of bread she pinched from the kitchen then ate a bowl of food from the neighboughs dog food.

you need to be careful on what she is stealing,

my girl can turn runny if she steals kibble or other stuff.

huskies are large scavs and wil steal what they can, not friom hunger but because it smells good and is a forbidden food!

we have to keep all foods far away in locked cupboards as our dogs 'side surf'

if the vets say she is a good weight and she has no problems then i wouldnt worry

has she been wormed lately? this may explain why she is always hungry as worms will do that to a dog and make them a bit chubbier than they should be

If you think she is chubby on what you are feeding, it could be due to the extra she is stealing. I know mine would eat what ever was put in front of her. She has no "full".

As long as she's a good weight I wouldn't worry lil buggers are great at wrapping you around their paws lol
