  1. Help Me Please!! Hello I need some help with a 2 year old husky female named Jasmine. I have had her since she was 5 weeks old and here recently she is acting different then she has ever before. She seems scared of everything. I cant take her out to walk or anything. And she is also nipping at people when we are outside and she has never been aggresive before. I dont want to lose my babybut if she doesnt stop viting im afraid i will have to give her up. What do i do??
  2. For a few days now my boy started to be afraid of going outside to the backyard. Normally he would go to pee and run around. Sometimes we would lock him out while handling food, so he would sit by the door waiting for us to let him in. Although even this, he was never afraid of going outside. But suddenly one morning he refused to go outside, even though we finally got him out, he just sat on the doormat. He eventually pee'd inside. So this has been going on for about 3 days now, we have to leash him out the door, and stand outside wait for him to pee. He's totally fine when going on walks, so I assumed it was just some weird smell. But the only thing I found is my neighbor smoking one day near our fence. He's not out there 24/7 nor does he throw the buds into our yard, so I doubt the smell stays this long. While this is going on, one of our roommates moved out, so some furnitures were also moved around. And now even in the house he's oddly cautious and alert. Any noise he would jump. (My boy is a big scaredy cat, but its not like a totally different environment) Before he would spend time outside, or try to steal our food instead, now he just stays in my room all day being a lazy potato.
  3. Hi everyone, This is my first time posting on here, but I really need some help.. My boyfriend and I recently rescued a 2 year old female husky from a rescue in fond du lac where we live. All we really know about her background is that she was from a bad breeder and was kenneled her entire life. We've had her about a month now, and we're really having some issues with her. I'm pretty sure from a lot of the research that I've done that she has separation anxiety. She defecates in the house while we're gone even though she's been let out an hour prior and is totally potty trained, she chews at door and windows and tries to escape anytime she is confined. She has now ripped the trim off of the door in the room that we've been keeping her in while we're gone. We tried putting her in a kennel this past weekend when we left for about an hour. She broke the latch on the metal kennel and escaped out the bottom. Now today we went and bought a plastic kennel that's a bit more study. We put her in it with toys and treats when we left for about an hour or so and when we came back she was still in there, thank goodness, but she had tried to bite her way out, was chewing on her paws to the point where they were soaked and almost bleeding (she's never done that before) and was shaking uncontrollably. She an angel when we're home, but once we leave she panics. I If you have any tips for me that would be great or if you know someone in the area that would be helpful to us that would be great to know also. (I am located in fond du lac, wi) Thank you for listening, Abby Donigain
