  1. This is Minika! She is 6 weeks old almost 7 on Wednesday. Here are photos of her including a close up of her eyes. What color do you think they'll be!! Me and the breeder think maybe bi eyed or parti eye in one. What are your guesses!!? I love how much huskies change it's so exciting. Can u guess right? (Also, no I do not have her yet, she is still with the breeder like she should be until 8 weeks♡)
  2. My fur baby Honey woke me up this morning and I noticed one of he pupils we’re dilated and her eye colors no longer blue in that eye. It’s very cloudish. Her behavior is still the same. She keeps it squinted at times. This has never happened. Her doctor can’t see her till the midddle of week. Has anyone seen this before? I originally took my Sierra to the vet where they said it was Cataracts and she may be going blind...... her eye was a little swollen one of her pupils were so tiny her hey had some Cloudiness to it..... Now that eyes back to normal ( all but not as bright and cataracts still there) ....... But now the other eyes doing the same exact thing ....... i just need need something to ask the doctor about because it’s like their all clueless one what’s going one with her and I really don’t think it’s just Cataracs.... if anyone can just throw some ideas out there to ask doctors it’s just scary the 1st to photos are the ones taken today while the next ones are taken when she first started having problems then she was switched from the first eye drops to the second Uveitis or whatever this may be
  4. My puppy is 1 month old now, and this morning I found something on his eyes, it was pure blue eyes before, but now there is green coming out on is upper left eye. Could it change to full color or parti eyed? Havent experienced it before. My previous husky had blue eyes during 2 weeks old, but 3 weeks onwards , its slowly turning into brown.
  5. Husky health problems are more likely to be related to the eyes. Cataracts are the most common eye condition that affects huskies. Even though this is quite a common condition with huskies the good news is that cataracts in most cases will not cause your husky to go blind. It is a good idea to get your veterinarian to check your huskies eyes annually just in case they have a more severe form of cataracts that can cause blindness. Another health problem is corneal dystrophy of the eye. This husky health condition will normally not show up until your husky is at least 3 years of age. Once again get your veterinarian to pay particular attention to your huskies eyes during each annual check-up. Even though husky health issues are relatively uncommon, you still need to be vigilant with your huskies health. Being aware of potential health problems is the first step and you are now more informed than you were. Doing thorough investigation into the lines of your husky before purchasing is also necessary. Once you have purchase your husky puppy, you should find a veterinarian that has experience in diagnosing and treating husky health problems.
  6. Hi guys! Since I've had Nahla, her coat was always a bit different to me. She doesn't have the usual husky mask and she isn't the traditional color (black and white, red, all white) Her markings seem different, she has black ears, a black raccoon looking tail (lol!) Her undercoat and the rest of her body is mostly white and blonde but not evenly all over her body both colors in random places, also she has a black stripe developing on her back, is this what you call piebald or maybe parti?
  7. My baby when he was a baby! Gorgeous breed!
