  1. Hello everybody ! Its been a very long time since I have posted here, nearly 5 years ! I remember joining this forum as a not even 19 year old, with my first husky... I am now 27, and Mishka is still by my side, as well as two more additions.. 😅 How things have changed, from renting a room in London to living in a lovely countryside house in France (I always promised Mishka someday she would have her very own big garden, what a day it was when we signed the contract for this house !) So yes, my lovely girl will be turning 10 years old this summer, as well as celebrating her 9th gotcha day ! Then we have Loki, who joined our lives 3 years ago, he is a 3 year old husky cross. And even more recently (Last Monday to be exact), we rescued a beautiful girly from severe neglect. She had been living for 2 years tied to a dog house among her own mess.. She was so severely matted and infested with fleas and ticks I wasnt even sure we could save her coat, but after a stHello everybody ! She was so severely matted and infested with fleas and ticks I wasnt even sure we could save her coat, but after a strong anti parasite treatement, 2 baths and grooming sessions morning and night for the past week, we are on the right track to saving her coat and are finally able to see what was hiding under all this coat ! 2. Hi all, Just seen on the French news that 121 huskies and malamutes have been rescued in Savoie (France), including 7 puppies on Wednesday. They belonged to a breeder who also done mushing, and although they're physical condition was good, their living accomodations were cramped and the number of dogs too much to deal with. They've been placed in a specific refuge by the french spca, awaiting the court decision. Will keep this updated when we get more news on the case.
  3. I discovered a make up app, funniest thing I've seen in a while lmao The app is called ''Youcam make up'', so lets see yours 😜
  4. Thanks guys! 😀 It came pretty naturally, we started off with a small crosspole (Thats the equestrian in me ahah) and came to it at a run, she jumped, loads of praise and a treat, put it up to a straight, same thing again, start to introduce the word ''jump'' as she goes towards the jump and so on I used to do it with our lab and rottie x as a child, they all tend to pick it up quite quickly, Mishka just seems to really enjoy it so I can have some fun with making larger spreads and putting the poles higher Although always start with a warm up, gradually build the jumps high, and if something is too difficult, bring it down a bit to end on a good note.
  5. Agility is something I would of love to have done with Mishka, but being off lead is an issue, so we just have some fun at home and at the stables lol... Mishka loves it!
  6. I had one like the first one and Mishka managed to get out through the corners. We now use her ''Petmate airline cargo crate'' (Bought when we moved to France) and its brilliant, she's never gotten out.
  7. Here's a recent one of me..
  8. What stunning sceneries! And gorgeous pups
  9. I have some more but need to find them lol
  10. Thank you Emma! xx Thank you! When she wants too, most of the time I just get this: Lol!
  11. Thank you! The first one doesn't show up properly :/
  12. Hi guys, here are some recent photos of Mishka, taken yesterday and today.
  13. Picking just one is soooo hard! I have so many, but I do really love this one at Brighton Beach
  14. We've had a few storms, but temps are still in high 20's, we had 31° yesterday lol (South of France)
  15. Great pics Emma, off lead is always fun! And I'm still inlove with Bear lol
  16. Bernese Mountain Dog, I adore them, I plan on having one once we're properly settled
  17. Thank you Emma, she is coming on quite well, the belly's back to normal and she isn't producing milk anymore, mammary glands still a bit enlarged but they're getting better, she is still nesting a bit, but not as much. xxx
  18. Maybe Kelpie? But I really don't know, she's a tough one lol There are some DNA tests but I personaly wouldn't waste my money on them (Seen stories of pure breed puppies coming out as a different breed) and she is lovely whatever she is
  19. Thank you, yes it is bittersweet
  20. Yes for sure! Lol She really had us starting to worry, her belly had started to round up too, the vet spent quite long checking her But she was an absolute star for the ultrasound, even layed on her back, not fussing when they shaved her, put the gel and done the procedure
  21. Well Mishka had the vet perplex, so she got an ultrasound, apparently no puppies but indeed a phantom pregnancy, medication for 6 days and she should be fine
