  1. Round the country park, Salcey Forest of Harlestone Firs
  2. We were thinking of contacting our dog trainer we used when we first had him He hasn't got any other husky friends, perhaps we will have to get him one
  3. Hi Lucas loves to play with other dogs, he doesn't get his hackles up or bare his teeth in any aggressive way. BUT..... he nearly always nips them when playing and the other dog yelps, he is very rough and we generally hold him back because he can be so rough, he doesn't care what size the dog is either. I would love to let him have a good play but I'm so worried he will hurt the other dog. Dog owners aren't generally very forgiving if they hear their baby yelping. Is it just me?????? thanks debi
  4. Thanks everyone. I rang the vet and they said to take him in. He had 2 injections and has antibiotics. He still isn't eating properly, but the constant sickness and diarehhia has calmed down. He won't eat the boiled rice, but is taking the chicken. The vet thinks he has eaten something dodgy as she couldn't feel anything in his gut or stomach. Any ideas on what else i could try him on, he's had a bit of scrambled egg too.
  5. Hi I'm a bit worried. Lucas hasn't been eating for over 24 hours now. He is very quiet and just lay in the garden sleeping all day. He has been eating a lot of grass, throwing up and has diarehhia. He is drinking & happy to go on his walk. Should I get him to the vets this morn or give him a bit more time to get it out of his system? Thanks for any advice, we don't like seeing him like this
  6. Lucas relaxing on Eve my youngest daughter!!
  7. He is being sick as well, but only grass and flem now I told the vet he'd been sick.
  8. I was thinking about that, I was actually blaming my mum for given it to him!!! She had a relapse today too!! I don't know if there is anything in particular though, I know she cleaned his bed yesterday.
  9. Hi Lucas has sickness and diarrehia, not sure if you can catch it off humans, but my mum was really ill with it on the Thursday and then Lucas started being ill early Friday morning. I ended up taking him to the vets on Saturday morning as he has blood in his poo and wasn't eating anything but grass. He had 2 injections, after a thorough check and 2 lots of medicine and he really seemed to perk up over the weekend. This morning he did nearly normal poo's, but today, from 9am, he was back at my mum's and had diarrehia with blood in it again and kept trying to be sick He has hardly eaten all day. Is it a blip? Should I go back to the vets? What should I feed him? On Sat he had scrambled egg and some grilled chicken, on sunday he had chicken and some chappie with sweet potato and salmon in it!! Help, any advise welcome
  10. Thanks guys for your input, I feel like I've hopefully done the right thing xx
  11. Hi, I'm really worried about him as he is starting to go off his food now. He was booked in for a biopsy, but we decided not to go through with it until we have spoken to the vet (who is on holiday for 2 weeks), as we didn't think she had considered ZRD or was even going to test for it!!! I have ordered some Nutrazinc and bought fresh sardines for him, but still feel really anxious that we are doing the right thing We are going away for a few days tomorrow and he is staying at a doggy boarding house with a couple, and I'm getting very worried about leaving him, even though I know he will be well looked after. Any advise welcome...... thanks
  12. We didn't leave him at Vets as the 'skin' vet wasn't in and we wanted to discuss the zinc problem as we are pretty sure it is that.
