  1. definatly the friendliest forum online i foun the others to be full of scary stories and eople too far up their own a**s for their own good but this is down to earth realistic and refreshing love love love husky owners lol im a newbe too ill be jining u mwi yur mithering of questions lol c u around xxxx
  2. a breeder told me that if you have a dog (as in male husky) and spay by 6 months they wont get the hormones the same and will only have one blow out a year is that true? i mean i dont care if its not i can cope with a few dog hairs .....a lot of dog hairs lolAnd best of all you're only just round the corner for the Spring Husky Camp in Abergele sounds awesome!!!! If you'd like to meet Mishka send me a PM & I'll give you my phone num id love to meet mishka and i love that neme theirs mishka the talking husky on youtube she so beautiful me and the kids sit their laughing for ages, want we think we want a boy so far weve come up with burly, yogi, or oscar ha any surggestions wud be great im not allowed anything to cutesy as my hubby will refuse to say its name in public lol well i think ive found a pup a litter has been born(a couple of weeks ago) and they said they will be ready in 8 weeks which is ace xx
  3. thank you for your advice and expierience i think i have definately made up my mind about getting one im soo excited and believe i can fully contribute a life time to this dogs needs i shall post pics as soon as howver im not planning on one for another month. its like waiting for a baby to arrive i have to have evrything in place a vet a place reserved at pupppy school, a crate a bed a clicker a whole store room of treats toys etc ha itll have its own nursary at this rate i swear im having a midlife crisis my youngest 2 are full time school now i dont know what to do with myself so as my body doesnt want the pain of another pregnancy hey presto my permanat toddler he he xxx i will love it with all my heart!!
  4. ooo anything would give me something i mean im happy to travel its just surely you have to be registed to be a true breeder? is it worth me contacting KC? in no way do i want to breed from my dog it will be spayed a months its to become a member of the family, but i think these guys asking £400-550 for a puppy with no papers or checks has gotta be dodgy right?
  5. im sick of trailing these for sale sites and seeing both parents can be seen but no papers... no mension of hip scoring eye tests nada i dont want to give my money to these people i refuse to help BYB and dont quite know where to go from here im in no rush at all if anyone can point me in the right direction itd be a huge help x :/
  6. aw you guys have been great im going on hol in 6 weeks not been for 2 and a half years and was already paid for hense why all the research there really is no oint rushing to get a puppy that i have to leave for 2 weeks in the middle of training so i will defo get one but when im back so sadly i still have a wait but all the more research time i want to learn more about this crate training and also clicker training ive heard is good but im filling a book with as many tips hints and dont do's as i can at this rate ill be wishing my holiday away ha ha x
  7. ha ha i better get my hoover insured lol is it true a spayed husky only has 1 annual moult? and has anyone found the ultimate dog de hairing device yet? (as in grooming brush been checking those out too some look painful and there are combs i was rather confused)

  9. i own my own business it been running several years now and have a number of staff my hours are set in stone so permanant routene and with the bussiness doing so well im lookin for early retirement before uping my hours he he were a family of five so already like a little pack, were all ready to chip in (itl be my baby though my only thing is not hours but i had my first taste of camp/hiking this year it was great only 1 night has any one ever took a husky camping? or im i going to wake up with my tent hurtling 30mph down the side of a mountain? XD
  10. it so sad ill check them out then id rather get a dog from somwhere recommended im scared of helping backyard breeders (scumbags) id rather be certain im helping the right cause there are so many in the local area its scary!! :/
  11. that sounds good to me ive read in to "husky soothing cd's" for when left lol and read about filling several kongs and freezing them apparantly keeps them occupied for ages lol but oooo ive only been reading about them a couple of months havnt even got one and im obsessed can see me having an adiction lol thanx any more info and advice and tips the better you cant have to much info.... xx
  12. i havent yet bought a dog ive had rottys in the past and no experience with tis breed ive been researching mals and sibes for over 2 months now and im still waying up the facts my situation is im a married mum of 3 i run my own business and have to ork 2 days a week 10-4, 10-5 the second day my mum goes in to clean for me for a couple of hours so that would break up the day, were an active family live north wales off the coast live in a large converted chapel enclosed back garden/ yard with 6ft fence no other pets my kids are 1x age 9 and 2x age 4 1/2, we have a beach 5 min drive footpaths and country walks right by the house and access to a large private field, we dont go on many hols just 1 every 2 years but are thinking of ditching that for camp/hiking, so do i or dont i? my reason for asking is all the forums ive read are about all the negatives of theese breeds? i dont want to rush anything and believe my decision is to aquire a new family member till death us do part, so have you to be a permanant house wife to look after these dogs? ive even already found a local puppy training school and grooming parlour for moulting season ive read about an outdoor enclosure as well and priced up one of them lol i think i just need someone to say its not as bad as is made out! even thought of re homing a rescue it was a cross mal sibe but felt you cant be sure what your getting especially with the kids lease help and give me some advice thankyou a nervous chantelle xx
