  1. Hi Husky Lovers , Greetings !fellow members , Its oddly satisfying to watch husky puppies and their tantrums. isint ? (do mention what your puppy does to get your attention or not willing to do certain task) I was wondering , i see so many posts with white black husky but very few copper/red husky puppies . Are they rare in UK or other parts of the world? Sincere request do post pics of your copper color husky
  2. my simba is just 27.55778 at 4 months of ... age as per some forums he should be 30 pounds +... I hope he will recover .

    hello

start with basic .. potty training.. crate training... or basic commands .. like start with NO with treats as positive behaviour .... when he does as asked... don't get frustrated... it takes repeated training for same command for several weeks... use short short interval for training like 10 min in morning 10 min in night daily.. while playing with your pup... training starts at day 1 ... but u need to go on slow..... as he is just a cute lillt pup... always be cheerful when around your pup during training... always reward for positive behaviour... may be frame your question on specific asks... as @robke said.. it a broad topic... hope it help a bit.. welcome to the group.

    R I P Iwan...

RIP... its very sad.. to see them leave...
  6. Sure you re right... I have read about the coat clipping... i know it not good fir them... still thanks for educating on this ... its confirms my findings... I am not just worried about being cold ... but i have read on few blogs .. sometime hard floor is bad for the growing pup posture... so bed in these cases help for those cases also... and he is free to sleep on bed or on floor as per the his mood... from my side... yet i thought having a bed.. is good ... just to give him option to choose from ... incase he need it... try to be a good parent yeah. he also keep switching from windows to doors.whichever side he feel is ok to sleep... mostly in front of Bathrooms... howsoever its not wet...
  7. they are so cute.. may be standard coat is what i am thinking... not sure... they do change coat color that's what i have heard....

    Hi all

they are so cute and handsome.... welcome to the group.... its must be so thrilling with all the new pups... Here is mine single pup... enough to take whole house on his head .... listening to grunt by my mother after digging all her plants..pots... like no one is more innocent then him...
  9. @wolfpup @Shepsky5 @PaulG @2Huskyfun @robke Got this one for my Simba... review.... he sleeps on it .... below it.... half on it... half down... he just keep switching places... sometimes sleeps with his head hanging out of the bed.
  10. sad to hear about your dog... rip but having a 2nd dog is always helpful.... plus when it comes to Healthy puppy only trusted reuptated breeders can provide you with a healthy puppy.... In rescue … you can not guage for heath conditions as... many life threatening health conditions are not apparent from start. Buying from breeders with appears give you general idea about the health problems with the pedigree..

    Hi

@Steelwolf hi welcome to the group. First of all , adopting is best, many will say it tuff to handle a husky puppy , I will say ..its a very happy learning curve... you will njoy everything about it and also they are super energetic and cute. Secondly, I will ask the purpose of you thinking about a fur puppy , see many have dogs to Guard or Watch or some like me just for being with a fur baby. So you need to decide.. as Huskies are neither a guard dog nor a watch dog... they cud be trained to be watch dogs but .. its very hard and not reliable... if you are working and leaves dog alone at home for longer duration .. you can think of buying 2 pups at a time since they can company each other and tire them out physically and you wont have to be involved 100%. I mean u wud have to take care of 2 pups at a time that's different but again twice the fun :) . I would advise you to read about them prior to have one... so u will have some idea.. they require high protein diet and they shed twice a year... they need regular exercise and they are pack animals. PS : look for alpha nature in the dog if you are adopting 2 at a time.. both the pups shud not be pro alpha nature as it cud trigger a fight among them once they reach adulthood. Given both of same age since childhood , chances are less.
  12. Oh...ok.... I thot he is a puppy and his long coat is still on its way... so was worried about his first winters here... as its do get chilly in winters here in India same with my Simba. my Simba also loves to sleep near by Bathroom.. as he finds it cool. sometimes he just spills water from drinking pot and spreads it on the tile floor and rubs his belly on it and sleeps with all 4 legs stretched
  13. @wolfpup isn't he adorable.... Yeah i also researched these kinda beds... help them to feel cool in hot weathers.... also give them support. are these ok in winters also....?? you are talking about these beds?? @Shepsky5 hey tnx for such a lovely comment ... yeah i now,.. but for now y Simba is just 4 months old... and he is very naughty... he sleeps in all the funny way possible. sometimes like a "dead dog" sometimes like sometimes all legs up in the air and sometimes just crawled up with her tail on his nose.
  14. its not available in India... maybe some alternative @wolfpup
