  1. thanks for that. I shall continue to remove her from the room. the poor thing is almost confined to the hallway. shes in and out like a yoyo. she will learn eventually. atleast she is good on walks now. she gets plenty of excercise without over doing it for her age. if she would stop the chewing she would honestly be a fantastic pup. 2. Hi guys. been a while since i posted. my little bundle of joy (more like devil) is getting bigger by the day. i didnt sleep much for like 3 weeks so decided to bring crate into my bedroom.... shes slept every nite without a hitch since. She thinks everything is a chew toy. and i mean everything. arms.....legs..... kids..... shoes..... kids toys..... anything really. Whats the best aproach to take with her? like how do i tell her off? be firm and strong with her.... talk nice n try and calm her down.... loose tha head 不.... iv tried all of the above and nothing works. needin some help here please as wife is loosing the will to live. heres how Mia looks now Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  3. Needing some help with crate training at nite. Iv had the pup for just over 1 week. iv started leaving her in the crate lastnite for the first nite. came down every 2 hours to let her out for a pee. if only it was that simple.... first time i came down she had pooped and made a hell of a mess. she screamed for 7 hours constantly. My wife is loosing the plot and i know wot is coming next if this continues for a number of weeks. Should i continue with leaving her in kitchen in crate with a lite on or should i bring cage into livingroom and lay next to the crate? I think bringing her into livingroom may be the wrong move but interested to see what you all think. The pup is lying here knackered and no wonder as she has been bouncing around a crate for hours. Oh i got a smaller crate which is the rite size for her and i was hoping that would have helped. Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  4. thats great thanks. i have today off work amd will be doing this. so at nite times what do you do with a pup that cant be left alone any more than the 5 minutes initially. do you think the crate in bedroom is a good idea? i am stuck between a rock and a hard place as i have a 7 year old who would be getting his sleep interupted and a 2 year old.... well that 1 is self explanitory 不. my wife wants me to bring her up the stairs 2nite so i can get a sleep 不 i dont have a smaller crate yet so she will be free roam 2nite if i do. am i being to fussy especially the fact that she is only 8 weeks and 3 days old. 6. im actually now considering buying another crate thats smallet and fit next to my bed. with regards to letting her sleep were she choses how would that be wen its time to leave them alone? for instance going to shop or giving some1 a quick visit? I dont know if im looking at this all wrong but i have in my head that if i allow her to sleep anywere in the house she will no doubt choose by my side which will not help with the being able to leave her alone. 10. so with the crate training.... i am going to leave the crate open for the next few nites and then gradualy see about closing the gate. i had her in work today and she was getting left in the office while i was in the workshop. i heard the odd howl but nothin to extreme so that should hopefully strengthen the fact that i will always return when shes left. its weird cause she likes to lie in my cupboard under the stairs for some reason. i closed the door over but not fully closed and she lay there for ages and fell asleep. its just the crate she doesnt like Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app the guy i bought her from messaged me today and he is shocked she is not settling in cage as she was in cage no problem in his house. ok she had brothers n sisters with her Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  11. do you have any tips for night times? last nite i changed it up a bit. i left her crate open which i new she would leave but i never heard a peep till 6.30am ( 20 mins ago ) and no accidents. let her straight out to the garden and she done a pee and poop. i thot rather than lock her in the cage and get her distressed i would try to build her confidence that we will always be back. id say lastnite was a sucsess. but i am defo up for help and ideas for the crate Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app

  16. hi thanks again for the advise and the 5 min walk per month is something i wasnt aware of so thank you for that. Im a bit confused tho. if its better to slowly build up time away from her then how do i get round work? And why is leaving her home better than bringing her with me? im just trying to establish a plan before collecting her amd also to go down the correct route of training from an early age Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  17. Ok i am thinking ahead a little bit here as i dont pick my baby up until 20th Jan but my question is this. I am planning to be bringing my husky into work with me as the office space is massive. However i dont want to fall into the trap of getting her not used to being left alone. Should i bring her into work right away or leave in house and come home to let out for toilet during working hours? I also dont want to get her into a routine and then brake that by bringing her into work which is why i am wondering if i should just start from early on. i am only 0.5 miles away from my house so popping back is not an issue. What would you guys do? Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app

ah excellent i shall upload pics that way thank you. as for crates... i have read that getting the correct size crate is important and if its to big then the dog wont be as relaxed? and obv to small will be crampt and just wrong anyway.
