  1. This was so reassuring. It was his first bath as well today. He must have been reacting to that as well. Gave him a couple of ice cubes. He loves eating ice cubes. The panting has almost stopped. I will keep a close eye on him overnight. Looks like everything is alright. So so relieved [emoji5] Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  2. He is actually panting a little more the normal. It has been about 7 hours since the incident. He coughed a couple of times but nothing since the last 3hrs. He is 9 weeks old. I was thinking of waiting till overnight and taking him to the vet if the panting continues. Does that sound OK? Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  3. He doesn't seem to be limping and he is sitting and standing normally. He is responding as usual to me. He is his bitey self mostly. I am feeling he might be a little less vocal than normal. I might be overthinking though Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  4. My fur baby jumped out of my arms just before I was able to put him down properly. Must have been from 2ft or so. He landed on his side. Yelped for about 30 seconds. I comforted him till he calmed down. It has been an hour since it happened he seems fine. Playing with his toys, had food. I have just put him down for a nap. Are there any signs I need to look out for? Will he be alright? Does he need to go to the vet? Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  5. Hey Amanda. Haven't received the message.. Sorry.. Do you mind resending please Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  6. What are the best toys for a 2 month old husky puppy? Also what are some good games to play with him? He already plays fetch pretty well. Don't want him to get bored of just one kind of game Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  7. Will I need shots for the teeth scratches he is making on my hands and feet? Is there a risk of infection? I have started showing him a treat when he grasps and make him sit and calm down before I give it to him. Worked alright today. Hope I am doing it right and not reinforcing bad behavior. Nonetheless today was a tough day. He just kept coming at my feet. Kind of drained emotionally [emoji20] Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  8. That would be great [emoji5] Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app Absolutely agree about how awesome the breed is. He is a smart boy. Already plays fetch with us. We will invest time and effort completely on his behavior [emoji2] Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  9. His grip is getting stronger each day. He grips and thrashes around his head. It is getting super difficult to get him off clothes especially coz his teeth dig in. Is it alright to hold him by the scruff to loosen the grip? Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  10. Such a cutie [emoji173] Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  11. I am also trying to offer him a chew toy in place of a hand/feet when he is in a bitey mood. Will stick to this schedule and share the progress with you guys [emoji4] Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  12. I love his eye color so much. Hope it stays so [emoji85] Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  13. This is very helpful all. I am first time husky parent and it has been a challenging couple of weeks. I will try the 'stop playing and ignore' approach during play time when Alpha gets bitey. I also read somewhere about tapping on the nose and saying NO firmly. What is your take on that? Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  14. Sorry, 7 was a typo. The breeder handed him over on the 35th day saying the mother had not been feeding for the last couple of days and he was used to eating solid food. All his siblings had been taken away. He was the last one to leave. Relieved that he has been eating well since day 1. Wasn't aware of the 8 weeks rule. Sounds unfair to Alpha. What can I do now to improve his behavior without making him uncomfortable? Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
  15. Thanks for the warm welcome folks. We brought him home when he was 7 weeks old. He is doing great in terms of health. But having a hard time with his biting habit. He has given me some nasty scratches over the last one week. What do I do to make him stop being aggressive and bitey
