  6. Hey again! I know you have all probably seen posts about colours quite a lot. I just wanted to show you the colour change of Mikah. She’s now 12 weeks old and was wandering what you guys make of the change IMG_6978.HEICIMG_7330.HEICIMG_7532.HEICIMG_7533.HEIC She has been like a light brownish colour, to a ginger to what looks like she’s turning a grey? Her mum was grey and white, her dad black and white. Can a red husky even turn to a grey lol 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app IMG_7531.HEICIMG_7532.HEICIMG_7533.HEIC Couldn’t tell if last pics were working so resent them [emoji5] Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  7. Welcome [emoji5] Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  8. Have had her out everyday socialising her and meeting other dogs and she’s great. Her teeth though, she’s a four legged jaws at the moment! I’ve booked her in for puppy classes too but it’s so busy I have to wait until next month [emoji17] This was her last night on a dog walk with about 8 other huskies/malamutes IMG_7399.HEIC Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  9. Ah thanks for the help everyone. I’ve been teaching her basic stuff but she has a very short attention span lol Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  10. Today she’s not over excited, my staffy is just trying to sleep but she’s still humping him whenever I leave her with him. I don’t really want to lock my staffy in another room to get a rest from her Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  11. Thanks, humping is when she’s wanting to play, it’s just a bit awkward when she’s humping the kids lol. I’ll get my kids to try that also as atm we just tell her no bite Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  12. Hey, I’m having a bit of an issue where my pup (12weeks this Thursday) is constantly trying to hump my older staffy and my children. She doesn’t try with my older bitch because she will tell her off. My staffy just stands and takes it and even if he does try and run she’s all over him humping any direction she can. Then she tries to hump my children’s legs and if she can’t she then starts to nip at hands and arms. I try to tell her no and remove her from whoever she is humping or biting but then she goes straight back to it, mostly to my staffy more than anything. She has been great in her crate and I do place her in it when she’s like this and she doesn’t make a fuss, she lays or sits until I let her out again. So yea, humping and nipping I’d like to fix, would love some advice [emoji5] Overall she’s a really good girl IMG_7330.HEIC Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  13. Hey I’ve only just seen this post, are any available still? X Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  14. Hey, just a small update...I took Mikah to the vets this morning to see the nurse and weighed her too.... she’s put on 1kg in a week [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  15. Hey thankyou very much, really appreciate it [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  16. Thanks for all the advice everyone [emoji5] The only reason I feed the pre-made raw food is because I don’t feel I’d be able to do it correctly and am worried she will miss out on nutrients etc. It all still slightly confuses me [emoji17]. Even with the packed meals I’m still worrying Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners

  18. Thanks everyone [emoji5] Her poop was for the first couple of days runny but they are solid now and she’s pooping more than I thought she would actually lol. I think the breeder was leaving food down all day for the pups. The food I was given was in raw sausage form and then complete biscuits too. When I tried to feed her on it she wouldn’t touch it, my other dog wouldn’t even and he’s a pig (staffy). I put down the pre-made raw chicken meal and she really loved it. This morning is tried her on a complete raw so 80/10/10 and she’s eaten just over half of it (166g total weight) and I did have to take her back and stand with her for her to eat more. There is still some in her bowl now and she’s sleeping. I’ll send a pic of the food I’m feeding her. Thinking about it she goes to my other dogs bowl and licks it even though nothing is in it and I assume she’s hungry so take her to her food and she looks at it and walks off [emoji17] Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners I scribbled out where I buy as not sure if it was allowed to be shown [emoji106]IMG_6880.HEIC Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  19. Hey, I picked up my pup last thurs at 8weeks old and weighed her as 5.1kg. I’m feeding her a raw diet so 500g daily. I was splitting her meals over 4x a day and she was finishing it although needed encouragement to eat instead of running off to play. I then tried splitting over 3x a day which seems to be worse. Her breakfast today she ate right away, 2nd meal she ate over 3-4hours and her last meal she’s had about 2 mouths and runs off. Should I reduce the amount even less? Maybe she’s bored of the same chicken but I started her on it with intention to add other flavours slowly. I’m worried she’s not getting enough food although she’s happy and playful Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

  23. Hey, yup the crate has a divider that I would need to buy separate to the crate. I’m not really sure how I’d explain to my neighbours why I’m rubbing dog poo all over the place hahaha! I’ll do it late at night so they don’t think I’m strange [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  24. Hey sorry I haven’t replied but I’m not getting any notifications so thought that I’d had no replies...really sorry [emoji28] I think I’ll go for the 46 and was looking at the Ellie-Bo range. Do you think I’ll need a crate divider? Again, I’m sorry I missed the replies and those pups are gorgeous [emoji173]️ Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners Oh I’ve just noticed that they only do 42 or 48 in this range [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
  25. Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong spot or has been posted many times before. I’m having a hard time trying to pick out a crate which will be good for use in home. I’m wanting to crate train my pup when I get her and use a divider to make it smaller so that as she grows the crate will be great for her as an adult. The problem is that I’m reading that some use 36in, 42in or 48in.... which is the ideal size that she will be comfortable in? [emoji848] Plastic or steel? Should I buy a crate cover or would a big blanket be ok to use? Does anyone use vetbeds and are they good to be washed quite a lot if my pup messes? Thanks in advance and sorry again if this has been asked a lot Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
