  1. Mika tried to eat the tutu but I thought it was the cutest thing lol.. We had a big storm come in from the gulf & little kiddo didn’t like having to pee in the rain. [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

  4. With Mika, I exercise a lot of patience. Whenever she goes to nip me, I immediately stop playing with her and ignore her. She really loves attention and absolutely hates being ignored. She is slowly starting to associate that biting is the reason play time ends and she has been biting much, much less. I know every husky is different, but I hope this helps!

Hi! Mika is my first Siberian Husky so I’m a little new to this. But, I did make sure to do my reading on the breed before I purchased her. I actually got a lot of my information from this site! Glad to be here. Mika says Hi! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  7. Hi all! My neighbor is deathly afraid of dogs so she requested that I have my eight week old puppy on a leash whenever I take her out. (She’s pregnant & said she’d run & probably fall if Mika ran up to her). Mika does not bark & is very very sweet but my neighbor is just deathly afraid. My issue is Mika is not taking to the leash well. Can anyone provide any pointers on starting her? I’ve tried to use some treats as positive reenforcement but that doesn’t seem to work after a couple treats. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
