    Found. Not alive unfortunately 😔

It’s a long shot, but worth a shot
  3. This sounds an awful situation The behaviourist is certainly going to be the best course of action you could have done. Really not sure what to suggest in the meantime though. Do you have problems when walking them together etc? Just trying to think of ways you might be able to get them together for a time without the aggression

So sorry to hear that m8. Was saying to Sarah, its really shit at the moment knowing that because of when we started the site, and inevitably a lot having pups at the time, we are watching them all go at once.

Not sure I trust that. No husky is 100% good dog LOL

Actually bathing daily can make dogs smell worse, rather than better. It also removes oils from their skin and can make them prone to sores
  8. We had a cat with our huskies. The huskies died of old age unfortunately. The cat however, died of huskies

Cant believe Im writing another one of these. Will just copy what I wrote on FB. --------------------- 15 years ago, I caved in to my wife and let her have a dog. I said I would never have a dog in the house, but I loved my parents dogs to bits, and since they were having pups, if we were going to have one, it was going to be a husky. We called him Kimba, and he changed the way we lived our lives. A year later we got Kaiser. Another husky (his brother). Kimba needed a companion so he wasnt so needy, so that was ok. Sarah had got him before I even knew about it. With this, we started a community of husky owners. Throughout the years we have run husky holidays where we have had from 3 to 130 huskies together at a time. We've run walks around the UK with them, got the attention of local press in various areas and more. It really did become our whole life, to the degree I now work with communities for a living. Most of the people I know, have been involved in the our community in one way or another. Whether people who like us, or people who hate us. A year after getting kaiser, another husky, Koda, was dumped at my parents house. Having had 5 homes previously, being quite disruptive, and quite loud, we kinda got why. (He was ripping doorframes off). But he was a loving dog. After coming to our house where he was "100% not staying", I wouldn't let him leave. (As Sarah said in the first place, of course) Getting all 3 at very similar ages was always going to come with the inevitable downside. They were all likely to go around the same time too. It was going to happen, and I knew that. In the last 7.5 weeks, we have had to come to the terms with losing all 3 of our huskies in a very short space of time. To say it's got to us is an understatement. Broken is the only word I can find that has come close, and somehow it doesn't quite cut it. You were my friends, and my family. Goodbye Kimba, Kaiser, and Koda.
  10. So sorry to hear that m8. Bad day for huskies that day 🙁

A little over 5 weeks after losing Kimba over the rainbow bridge, we have also unfortunately lost kaiser. To say we are gutted is quite an understatement. Really nothing more I can say. Just gutted. Taken me 4 days just to put this on here last mixer pic of him I got
  12. And we're back. Got some updates to do, and a few things may be a little out of place, but for the most part its back and ready for me to be getting some long overdue updates through on this place
  13. Just a quick heads up to let everyone know that husky owners will be moving to a new server at some point soon. So you may see the site go down for some time All done
  14. I wouldn't have this place to post on. We wouldn't have met many of the friends we have We wouldn't have been on many of the holidays we have had We wouldn't have been on many of the day trips we have had A lot of our friends, would not know a lot of their friends, if it wasn't for him There are rescues that exist now, only because he existed Hell, even a lot of people I no longer speak to. Some I wish we'd never fell out with, and others I hate, would not even know each other without his existence All this because without him, husky owners would have never even been conceived as an idea. That husky owners forum, for people who have huskies as pets. Not necessarily people who run (although many do) or showing (although many do), but just for the love of the breed, and the love of our pets. RIP Kimba - You gave us so much
