I totally thought this thread was about sledding.... Here is me--- my two boys--- Chris 8, on the left and Brody 11, on the right --- and the three girls who are 5. Rianne, Kaitlin, and Victoria in the hoodies and then Kaitlin, Rianne, and Victoria in the dance photo from left to right. ......... Those photos look much better when tiny on my phone.

Hello! I already posted in the Health section yesterday and some people offer us some great advice. But I suppose I should officially introduce us! My name is Hayley, my husband (Caleb) and our son (Rohan) live up in the blue mountains in Oregon in the United States. We also have two cats named Baelish and Varys. We have talked about adopting a dog since last winter when we bought our house with a HUGE yard and a doggy door already installed. We have been checking local animal shelter listings looking for either a husky or a lab, and last Tuesday we saw Drogo in our local shelter, went and met him and decided to bring him home! What we know about the first approximately three years of his life is very little. He was found starving and dirty tied to a tree. He waited for owners to find him for a month before being put up for adoption and howled for most of it. He has a lot of separation anxiety and has been fairly sick since coming home, but we are nearly 24 hours sick free and got him to eat rice and chicken last night! He isn't shy about water and has stayed hydrated. We are really impressed with him already. He knows a few basic commands and is great with kids. He walks with me to take my son to school and pick him up and we've started letting kids pet him, he loves the attention! He even gets on well with one of our cats, they lay next to each and touch noses and sniff each other, the other cat wants nothing to do with them. Though both cats have a kitty door installed going up to the loft area so they have a large safe space he can't get to. I'm excited to see what his personality is like as he starts to feel more at home and gain back the weight he lost!

Wish I could get a better picture of it but right now she's really not in the mood to get her picture taken So here's one taken sneaky through the window, lol. I'm sad to report the tennis ball has already passed away. It had a short life but at least it fulfilled it's goal I suppose...

They need to learn this behaviour and the sooner you can socialise the less problems you'll have. Ours is far too social and wants to play with every dog which gets us in trouble at the dog park as she doesn't understand cues that some dogs don't want to play (mainly smaller breeds whose owners panick thinking she's trying to attack). It's good to start with socialising on lead letting them say hello then walking on. Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app

I'm a bit late with this but on the 4th Jan 2009 I first joined husky-ow ers , blaze was still a pup n I came here looking advice on breeding hahaha!!!!! I got the advice I needed n that was in short don't, they're are so many in rescue now days and just because your dog is cute doesn't mean you should breed them and I'm glad we didn't , I never left I've made some fantastic friends over the years some I've met some I'll never meet and ive had so much support with all my dogs and my rats , and you all took in Bings the only dog to howl at the first husky meet lol n I can't thank you all enough , especially Sarah , Marc and Dunc as without them who knows where I'd be , they also helped me to get past my shyness and actually talk on the phone too! [emoji33] it's been a great 9 years , here's to many more! 🥂 Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app

so here is micha who has been to the vets because she picked up and swallowed a whole onion out of a food waste bin. so she has been to the vets and given an injection which made her violently sick, and has a bowl of activated carbon mixed with dog food to eat (apparently it tastes like burnt toast). the other two who have already eaten think they might be missing out

I have a husky named Aqua and she is also known as my dream starter. I've had my up and downs in my life lost a lot of dreams but one dream I didn't loose, Wanting to own a siberian husky. Yes i've wanted one since I was a kid mainly for the looks but also because of the energy you got to put into training your husky and making it your best friend. I couldn't of asked for a better dog, every time I look at my dog I just know, one day i'll get all my dreams and she will be there to smile with her tongue out happy that i'm happy. My husky isn't just an ordinary dog for me, it means dreams are possible to me. I got her when I thought I failed everything, then she came along. Heres a pic of me and aqua. I love her to death.
