We've all seen and laughed at those you tube videos of huskies throwing a tantrum. Not quite so funny today when it was ours lol. We had a lovely walk around Haughmond Hill met lovely dogs and lovely people. By the carpark there is a cabin which is a toilet facilities and a lovely basic cafe and I'd promised other half a bacon butty when we got there only when we got there we found it was closed today. Solo likes his walk and knows we stop for a butty, he gets a bit of sausage, and was disgusted it dared be shut so threw himself onto the floor screaming! Tbh thought he'd hurt himself but it s5 points

Lolol. Mine throw lite fits. Small stuff like the male will wait for a treat or bite of meat, if we aren't quick or we ignore him, he will huff at us a few times, and occasionally a sharp single BARK, with his nose up in the air. The female lowers her head and ears slightly back and "yells" at me usually if she's hungry or we've been away too long from her. She has this funny low voice and it goes "roo roo roo roo roo roo" in a fast pattern. She will put one or two feet in an empty water bowl, or sometimes she flings the bowl across the kitchen, or digs in it. Sent from my SM-G955U us4 points

Today I took keto to my parents farm where we let her run free with my parents dog she loved it. We made sure that all the gates were shut and they just ran and ran, then they just wondered round the lane and farm yard she even can back when called (I did have lots of treats ) my parents dog comes back all the time and keto followed him every where . She is very tired tonight . Know we are told not to leave them off but it was secure and she could not get out from it. Plus was lovely to see her run and race another dog and doggie play with each other.2 points

Yes, it's the new dog park. We've got loads of local Huskies, even have a playdate WhatsApp group, but finding a time that suits all owners to meet is the problem! And then the Huskies don't do well in the afternoon heat, so playdates need to be scheduled around that and the weather... LOL Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app2 points

Some of you may know that I was pregnant, however a few weeks ago I lost my baby at 16 weeks. It was the cremation today, instead of going to the I decided to walk up Moel Famau and let off some balloons at the top [emoji4] lots of sheep there so didn't take the dogs! Hi everyone, I don't come on here much anymore, I doubt anyone remembers us but if somedy does I thought I'd share some photos to celebrate Mishka's 5th gotcha day! Seems like a lifetime ago when I look at the old photos but I also remember that morning like it was yesterday. I hardly recognize her on the first pictures she was just a scared and confused pup who was already onto her 4th home. She put me through my paces during the first year, but slowly but surely everything clicked into place and to this day I could not be prouder of her. She is my rock, and I love her more than anything. [1 point

Glad to hear its going better! That's why I'm so glad I taught mine 'leave it' early on, its so great standing metres away from them at the dog park and yelling 'leave it' and they'll ignore anything on the ground while the other owners have to chase after their dogs to get whatever they picked up! I guess I'm just lucky that they both choose to obey that command regularly...[emoji23] Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app1 point

Yes, its really cool having the park this close, so now I can take them regularly! But B can't join the playdates as he gets into the herding mood with 9 Huskies around and then he gets reactive when the Huskies don't want to play sheep![emoji23] [emoji23] Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app1 point

Thanks! He still has anxiety issues when on leash and freaks out a little, but he's a totally different dog than a year ago! He even let the skateboarders pet him without running away! And Smokey seems to enjoy the park & friends more than he does :-) Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app1 point

Victoria Stilwell has a page on Facebook too, think it's called positively? It's a really good read, lots of articles pop up on my timeline. [emoji3] Edit: nope it's called after her own name but her profile picture says positively so that's probably where I got the word from, lol. Some pics of Cai and Luka playing in the off lead field, we were very impressed with this field, all three of them loved it! Cai did a run of the perimeter to see how he could escape, no joy! We stayed for half an hour and tbh that was enough for them, they were worn out when we left, and Cai managed to get a birds eye view of the sheep by sitting on top of one of the obstacles, he wouldn't come down! Glad to see he's doing better, quite a few dogs here have been diagnosed with Pancreatitis too ;-) I've been told by the one person thats Husky was diagnosed with it that they have to get very little to no fat in their diet while on the mend. Plain Yoghurt was one of the things that the vet highly recommended, as well as the chicken or turkey/duck meat with rice. Sent from my SM-T815 using Husky Owners mobile app1 point

I've reverted to a normal lead for the time being - Marley has had me over twice now using my walking belt. If he pulls forward its ok, but on both occasions he pulled suddenly to the side and I just went down. Possibly because I am not as quick reacting as I used to be when younger. Hoping the behaviourist works for you - looking forward to your reports!1 point
