Only had one dog as a child  -  for about 2 months, then one day I got home from school to be told he had "gone to the farm".

First hubby would not have dogs, only cats, second hubby likes all animals so:-

Benson - rescued Greyhound  -  fabulous dog

Louie -  rescued Borzoi   -  massive  7ft 2" from nose to tail  -  turned into magnificent animal after initial problems

Bernie - rescued Collie/spaniel cross -  problem all his life bless him but even when he died of old age still had the face of a puppy

Kia - rescued Collie/spaniel cross   -  Bernie's father  - same as son

Cane  -  Collie/lab cross  -  rescued one hour before due to be euthanized - had to say goodbye just before Xmas

Lunar - Utonagan  -  rescued at 11 weeks old  am 4th owner  (current)

Marley - Husky  -  adopted/rescued at 12 weeks  -  am 4th owner  (current)

*APOLLO* (Samoyed/Chow)
My baby was 14. I miss him every single day! He died last year on my 50th birthday, but I look at that as quite the connection. He was the love of my life & we we're inseparable. He is my angel in Heaven.
(I love you APOLLO-BABY.)

I had a GSD called Simba, I still miss him and it's been 32 years since he passed. I now have Cai and Luka, my gorgeous fur babies.

CHELSEA~ I know. Thirty-two years is a long time but totally understand how ya feel. I deeply love my babies ARMANI & ALINAH, but still am not over APOLLO & never will be. Our babies are like our kids since I was never able to have kids.
What would we do without our babies!

I came from a dog loving home. My moms hobby before having children was taking in strays and finding them good homes! I was told she had 10 dogs at one time for a short moment! But these are the dogs I was raised with and owned...

Cricket-miniature poodle

Gerty- miniature schnauzer

Shotsy- miniature schnauzer

Bo- Afghan/cocker spaniel mix

Stuart-chihuahua

Pepperoni-miniature dachshund

U dog- chihuahua

Bella-miniature dachshund

Zoe-yorkie (current)

Hazel-Siberian husky (current)

I've also owned a guinea pig and a rat just for my children.

I've tried my hand in fish but I can't keep them alive!

JO~ Aww MILLIE is beautiful, precious & love her eyes/ears! Her expressions just make ya melt! Definitely, she is in your heart eternally.
I miss my APOLLO every minute & will never get over him. I even named his fave treat after him to give my babies so I hear his name every day.
