  1. Don't use pads. It will enforce his behavior to go in the house. Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  2. Put her in a completely separate place when she does it. What we did with our chihuahua was grab the roof of her mouth lightly and say "NO". She stopped after a few weeks of it. Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

  4. Oh I know they won't curl too much, I've had adults, just never a puppy. I think the awkward stages with puppies are adorable. I work at a daycare/grooming salon and see it with the German shepherd puppy Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  5. I'm so obsessed with her [emoji173] I loved my huskies growing up and I'm so glad to actually raise a puppy! Do they go through an awkward stage with their ears/lankiness? When does their tale curl? Share some stories about your huskies as puppies and adults! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  6. You need to introduce him to tons of people and praise the good reactions. Ignore the bad ones. Do not coddle his fear. As for the rest, I'm unsure. I've never personally experienced that with a puppy before. Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  7. Hi!

Oh I won't be pad training! My friend pad trained her dog and then her dog refused to go outside. Do they potty train quickly? I know that no dog is completely potty trained until they are closer to a year, but I know some take longer than others! I've had a husky before but never as a puppy Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app Also thank you and welcome Aurora! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  8. Hi!

I realized I made a post without introducing myself! I'm getting a husky puppy in 11 days and she's growing so fast! Her name is Nimbus. Any tips on things like crate training and potty training a husky?? Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  9. A service dog isn't a pet, they do a job and help with disabilities, a lot of other service dog handlers refer to them as medical equipment. They get to be dogs on their down time, but a majority they are working Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app So she'll be a service dog in training when I get (with more puppy time than training until she is more mature for harder training). It takes two years to train a service dog. She still gets to be a dog when she's home, but in public and around other people once she's fully trained she will be working Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  10. She won't be a pet and she won't be an emotional support animal a service dog is completely different from ESA, as an ESA has no training and does no tasks and has no rights in public. Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app She's so cute! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  11. For my bipolar disorder and PTSD. I've owned the breed before but never as a service dog and was just seeing if anyone here has! I've seen husky service dogs before Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app this is my bean right now at 6 weeks, I get her the 27th Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  12. I really like tug a jug. It's a treat toy that makes them have to figure out how to get the treat out of the jug. You could also start agility training maybe? Or harder tricks? Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  13. What is a good brush to use for a shedding husky then? I am getting a puppy in two weeks! Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
  14. Does anyone here have a husky as a service dog? I will be getting one in two weeks to start training for me Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app
