  2. Haha, no offence taken! I had that discussion with the owner of that 4 Huskies... remember it's winter here so they have full fluffed winter coats and probably eat more than they should. Also she had a (human) baby 4 weeks ago, so that was their first time out in that amount of weeks. According to her they all weigh between 26 and 34kg and their vet is happy. My two were weighed 2 weeks ago and Smokey is perfect weight according to my vet at 23kg (she used to be severely underweight at 17-18kgs!) and Tsunami might be considered a tad overweight at 33kg, but remember he has Malamute in him and only turned 2 a month ago, so technically still a pup in my eyes... 3. Got picky eaters as well! Pick one thing like everyone suggested and stick to it, they won't starve themselves unless there's a medical issue and then you need to see a vet. Also found that Tsunami will be more picky about kibble when he's had biscuits or treats ;-) Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  4. Wish they could have these playdates daily, they just get super hyper and crazy with a bunch of Huskies!!! Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  5. Thanks everyone! Yes, they had lots of fun and most importantly they are very tired and quiet now... Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  6. Tsunami and Smokey had their very first playdate at the new dog park today! With FOUR other Huskies!!! So much energy and wooo wooos, not to mention a mad howling contest! They're totally pooped for today! And poor Tsunami had an accident... Smokey ran right into him and he went tumbling downhill, so he's taking advantage of getting 'bed' rest! Smokey meeting Kodi Smokey likes Kodi! Tsunami being tired Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app

  8. Tsunami sleeping in his crate last night, while all the other dogs were curled up with blankets, he was too warm! Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app

  10. Happy birthday, gorgeous! Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  11. Tsunami doesn't growl, but he gets very 'mouthy' and he knows how to take your hand away with force! (without actually being mean and biting...) I guess if he really wanted to bite, he'd bite a hand off judging by how he chomps smoked bones! I tried a human comb on him and he seems to tolerate it better, so will definitely look for one of these in our petshops. Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  12. Nice going! Tsunami is on a little diet too since he's been over eating this cold winter so far, but frequent afternoons at the dog park seems to be working its magic so far! He's down to 33kg now and hoping he sheds another 2 or so... Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  13. I've found the double row ones to be less effective with Tsunami's very thick undercoat, but it works better on Smokey's coat. Tsunami hates being brushed with an undercoat rake, but loves a cheap plastic brush I bought...if only that could have worked on his undercoat, but it only brushes the guard hairs :-( I never thought of trying a comb, will have to see if I can find one like this in petshops here. 14. Gorgeous pup! If she needs more exercise, you can split up the walks in the mornings/afternoon and evenings and do 15-20 minutes each time if I remember correctly ;-) its just not long walks at once... Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  15. Oh, they play really rough when they want to! Winter should let her know when she's had enough or you should be able to see when the pup irritates her too much and seperate them for a while or distract with toys so they get a break from each other. But if they're like my 2 they will stick to each other like glue very soon! (And playfight through life like only Huskies can!) Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
