  4. My boy used to growl when held or hugged from I got him at 9 weeks, he's never been aggressive though, but still today at 2 and a half years old he'll growl most of the times when you hug him or hold on to him tightly...he jyst does not like it. My girl loves it though! I'd say something probably happened at the breeder before you got him...sounds very sketchy to me! Maybe try clicker training with him if you're familiar how to and start with just touching him and giving a treat if he does not growl. Then gradually work your way up to just picking him up for second or too... Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  5. Been using Bravecto for more than 2 years and it works very well for all my dogs Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  6. Welcome! My boy Tsunami has anxiety issues as well, I've been working & training non stop for the past year and he's gotten so much better that he now has playdates at the dog park with a bunch of other doggies! Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  7. Looking very nice on Cai! Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  8. I've used Bravecto for more than 2 years with no issues. Here it is only FrontlinePlus that does ticks, the normal Frontline is only for fleas@Robke Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  9. Agreed that it doesn't quite look Agouti on this photo, but remember their markings and colours change a lot while growing up ;-) Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  10. Thanks Andy! And yes, its awesome to have the new dog park so closeby, the dogs surely enjoy it there! Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app

  12. I've seen 'in training' and 'do not pet' vests being sold online and also leashes with it printed on, but to be honest most people just ignore them or whatever you tell them and just go ahead and pet the dog! So start small, with only few people around, maybe family or friends you can explain to before and get her not to mouth them before going huge with hundreds of people. Also, as you mentioned being consistent is the biggest factor ;-) Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  13. I've been using it for 2 years now and no issues, just make sure to give it every 3 months and the right dosage for his weight and it should keep the ticks and fleas away! Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
  14. A lot of Huskies are like that, they're not dominating or he could be unsure of himself in that situation and just let the other dogs get their way. When my boys anxiety was really bad at the start he used to avoid other dogs (strange dogs, not my other dogs) he'd let them get away with everything and hump him without doing anything, but now after more than a year of training and making progress with his anxiety he's starting to stand up for himself and interact with other dogs when at the park. He'll even growl or push another dog away if they get too much for him (playfully, not aggressive!) Could be that your boy is nervous or is jyst not the dominating type and he'd rather avoid than start a confrontation. If they do bully him too much, and you are worried you can just intervene on his behalf and call him somewhere else... Sent from my ALE-L21 using Husky Owners mobile app
