It is with great sadness that I fnd myself being the purveyor of further sad news from Lincolnshire. My wife of 34 years, (and fellow Husky carer), passed away earlier this morning so I am currently having to face many potential changes to my current lifestyle. I am sincerely hoping that I will not have to break up my pack. I am sure that I am not the first, (and most certainly not the last), person to find themselves not only losing a partner but also having to worry about the other 'family members'. Apologies for yet another piece of depressing news in what should, otherwise, be a slightly happier place.

I went to fat club tonight for my weekly weight in and lost 4 and a half pounds this week! Must be all the stress lol This then meant that I got my 4 stone award - 4 stone gone for good!

Hello everyone! I have a big big update. But before that I have to update on something else for those who've followed my journey through Scandinavia for a bit. Because I am back in the Netherlands. Sadly I was without work rather unexpectedly but as I have already realised, last minute changes are very common in the sleddog community up there. The place I was working for had too many people. But since I was outsourced to another kennel in Finland in the mean time it wasn't a problem, until that company decided that they didn't need my help any more and sent me back... My boy hit 2 today - and I could not be happier with him in my life. Was so concerned when I first got him as a puppy that he was going to be too much for me to handle, even considered returning him at the time .. but I think back to that now and question what I was thinking at the time, and how I could have ever even considered it. When we had the husky meet at the offlead park the other day, I just let him straight off the lead and he went for a run around, greeted the other dogs etc. Every other dog that came along he greeted. Knew which ones he should probably avoid, and which ones were playful. Even got comments from a couple of people afterwards about how he was so…
