Hi all! Tikaani & I are new to the site so here is our little intro. I have had Tikaani since he was 8 weeks old, he is the first dog I have owned as I was holding out till had had the room & time for a husky. I love him to bits, he is so loyal & intelligent & is such a character! I took him to a husky race meet a few weeks ago & he loved watching the other huskies racing. It was amazing to listen to them all howling and talking to eachother. I would love to get a rig & do some racing with him for fun, i think he would love it. Would like to get him a companion at some point. Looking forward to being p…

Hi everyone, We researched the Siberian Husky for ages and went to visit a very nice breeder locally who had a litter of puppies (all taken) and seven adults. We wanted to see how they actually behaved and interacted with us and each other as reading only gives you so much information. When we got there one puppy had become available and the wife could not resist! A couple of weeks later we went back to collect her. She is great, mostly white when we got her but now a mixture of black, silver, white and brown. She has been hard work, aren't all puppies? but also so much fun. She has so much character and bundles of energy. She flew thr…

Hi all! I wish I could have found this site sooner! I am quite young, about to go into college to major in graphic arts. I live in the backwoods of the south, originally from the north. I share my life with two dogs: Sugar, the Siberian Husky and Peaches, the Pomeranian. Sugar, I must say, was a little booger when she was a puppy. Finding this site two years ago would have helped with motivation and support for training such an energetic dog. However, she has mellowed out quite a bit, but is still her goofy, rambunctious, lovable self. She inherited her startling white color from her mom, but that was about it! Her muscular build and goofy attitude…

Just found the site, so first post up. Have had my new dog now for a week, he came from a family that found him to much, wasn't looking for a new dog, but decided that our older dog, could do with some company, and before she got to old. He is settling in well, started on training, and got a scooter for him to pull, so he gets his run. Probably going to have a few Q's, so hope peeps will offer up some advice. Will have a read of the forum, to get more info.. Al

Hello everyone. I'm still getting used to browsing my way around this site, but I love the idea of an all-husky forum. I currently have 2 sibes - Jasper and Timber. They are brothers from the same litter, and just turned a year old in August. I absolutely love them to pieces. They seem to be past their teething and destructive stage (thankfully), and now just want to spend all their time giving love. I'm constantly surprised at their level of affection, but I love every minute of it, and their quirky personalities keep me laughing all day long. It's funny that their personalities are such polar opposites considering they're brothers. Jasp…

Hello everyone, I'm brand new to the forum, so I wanted to introduce myself and my wonderful little husky puppy, Makita. We bought her on her 2 month birthday 4 days ago, and she's already managed to change my life. Her little face fills my heart with love. I'm 23 and live in Los Angeles (until I can convince my boyfriend to move to Colorado, where he grew up). I'm looking forward to connecting with fellow husky owners to discuss training techniques, any health issues (god forbid) and the general well-being of our beloved dogs. It's great to meet you all! Jess

Hi Im new to the site and thought I'd give a little intro to me and Ruagh Lets see Im 28 years old, had dogs all of my life (previously border collies). All my previous dogs have been rescue dogs who were found difficult to rehome for whatever reason - Ruagh is the first dog where I actually went looking for a breeder to get him as a pup. Well thats enough about me - I know your really interested in him *grin* My sibe's name is Ruagh, he's now 11 months old, had him since he was 13 weeks old, waiting until he is about 14 months then going to start sand surfing with him as Ive got a great beach nearby to do it on that allows dogs all year round. …

Sadie and her humans...Corey and Leilani are awesome. They are our buddies who come out to play at the park. If I remember correctly they got Sadie after she had become a fully fledged adult, but she is a very happy girl. Sadie is actually more spoiled than Chewy and Solo are, lol, she has her own bathroom and everything. Isnt she lucky? Sadie is a very sweet sibe and her humans are very nice people, so please say hello when you notice them on the forum. BTW...Corey are you guys up for meeting us out at the dog park on saturday?

Randomly came across the site and thought I'd register, so i guess this is my official hello! guess I should tell you a little about myself (why does this seem silly typing about yourself? lol) My Name is Clive, originally from Birmingham UK but currently living in a remote town in Labrador Canada. I haven't got my pup yet (get her on Thursday as she is only just 8 weeks, but I've met the delightful little thing) but I'm as excited as a kid on Christmas Eve. Mya (I wasn't keen on the original spelling of Maya)isn't a pure husky, but no such things exist really up in these parts. Basically her mother became poisoned after the birth of her pups and w…

New(er) husky owner here. I got my little girl in late june at 8 weeks. She's now nearing 7 months and her name is sky. While I'm not a new pet owner, she is my first husky and really the first husky i've ever known first hand. She gets between 2-2.5 cups of Wellness pet food per day and lots of attention. And here's what you're really after: the first two are from the first day or two of having her. the other pictures are within the past week.
