It was my my fiance's 30th birthday on Friday so I thought as it was the big three o i wanted to do something a bit more special...so I bought tickets to War Horse in London as he had been saying he wanted to see it. Anyway we went yesterday, had a wonder around Covent Garden in the morning and then the show in the afternoon...it was AMAZING!! It is based on a true story about the horses that went to war in world war I,in particular a horse called Joey. I won't tell you anymore cause that would give away the storyline! The horses were made out of a really well constructed bamboo type framework and were operated by people inside them, intia…

Husky  The Wolf Dog of the North By Jack London (Harper's Weekly, June 30, 1900) Neck, from head to shoulders, a mass of bristling hair; sharp pointed ears, long-snouted, lips snarling, fangs dripping; yelping rather than barking; wolfish of aspect and not nice to look upon when in anger  this is the husky, or wolf-dog of the North. Much has been said of the Klondike, but these magnificent brutes, which in the beginning made that frigid El Dorado possible, have received little more than passing comment. Nor has this neglect been due to their being but the humble servants of the master, man. They are far from humble, as their wild ancestry at…

So ok the karate kid (Jackie Chan) Jaden Smith (will smiths son) The story is very much what you know of the original 1984 hit (now i feel old) The story has not changed but it is not karate based it is kung-fu. But as the story is based on a remake with a few little twists an copyright laws enforced the odd change here and there Plot 12-year-old Dre Parker could've been the most popular kid in Detroit, but his mother's latest career move has landed him in China. Dre immediately falls for his classmate Mei Ying -and the feeling is mutual. But class mates see it as wrong and do no accept him causing differences being sorted out in competition. If you have seen t…

Ok I have looked this up on the net and it's got some good reviews an general 4 stars out of 5. I have seen it and the adverts make it look so much more than it is. I really would say wait for this to come out on dvd if you really do want to waste some time in you're life that could be put to better use by say sleeping. acting is not great the story is ok but poorly done effects for this day an age make you think it should have been released when return of the living dead was released (and that was much more entertaining) The main problem is at the start you are awaiting to see what they create an the rest is about them trying to hide their creation …
