I've just watched this on BBC iplayer, it's absolutely horrific! If anyone is reading this and thinking of getting a pup, please please do your background checks and ask to see the pups parents! Or even better, adopt don't shop! It's such an eye opener and definitely worth a watch

well I've finally caught up on all the walking dead series and am on count down for the next season of Game of thrones....not long now! BBC3 moved to an internet only channel which was a pain in the bum but I managed to find the recent season of cuckoo (comedy show, hard to describe, lol). What tv gems have you been watching recently?

So who's been watching it this year? Who do you think will win? I'm finding Lady C hilarious but wouldn't fancy being stuck in a camp with her 24/7. Her eccentric ways would drive me nuts after a few minutes, lol.

Have just seen the new ad where hunky man rescues damsel and her beautiful husky team off ice across water. Is it wrong that my first thought is "all that fur inside a new car he needs a good vacuum!?"

Sir Christopher Lee, the veteran actor and star of many of the world's biggest film franchises, has died aged 93. The English-born actor, who made his name playing Dracula and Frankenstein's monster in the Hammer horror films, appeared in more than 250 movies. He was best-known for his villainous roles - including Scaramanga in James Bond and evil wizard Saruman in The Lord of the Rings. The actor's other credits include The Wicker Man and Star Wars. The actor is reported to have died on Sunday at Chelsea and Westminster hospital in London, after being hospitalised for respiratory problems and heart failure. He was also an accomplished professional singer and…

Might want to pin this as a add your own thread I am a rare person in the age of the internet I like reading, yes I have e reader equipment but I personally prefer a book the act of page turning is part of the experience I will post to this thread some of my favourite books, nature, history, SciFi they will cover a wide range of subjects. My first recommendation is In the Shadow of a Rainbow by Robert Franklin Leslie The True Story of a Friendship Between Man and Wolf First published in 1974, this classic tale of friendship, courage, and the wild has captured hearts of all ages. In 1970, a young Indian who introduced himself as Gregory Tah-Kloma …

One of the contenders performed a 'unique' Death/thrash metal version of Disney Frozen song 'let it go' much to the dismay of judge Amanda Holden. Brought tears of laughter to my eyes. lol.

Did anybody watch code of a killer on itv1 tonight? It's based on a true story and the murderer was the first criminal to be caught by DNA testing. The creepy bit is that he was from the village where I live!

Just finished watching Season 1 of Happy Valley on Netflix. Currently watching The Last Tango in Halifax. Two differences I noticed from American television programs: UK programs run a few minutes longer; there seem to be fewer than seven words you can't say on TV in the UK. Happy Valley is a police drama, and the graphic images are more real-to-life than what we see on American TV. Both programs are extremely well-written and the acting is much better than what I am accustomed to watching. Maybe it's just the fact that it is different than the standard stuff we watch here in the colonies. Going to my room now.

Last night I was channel hopping when I saw a programme was on about Alaska. Sadly it was the last one of 3 episodes but was really good. There was a brief bit about a guy who had lived in Alaska for the past 8 years, living off the land etc and he had 4 huskies, though the narrator called them Alaskan huskies and the guy worked them. Was lovely to see them running across the snow pulling a sled. Did anyone else see it?

I was a bit nervous going into this film as I really wanted to see it and Mitch really didn't......in the end I didn't care if he wanted to see it or not (I watch enough of his rubbish!) because I REALLY enjoyed it.....and i am now inspired to utilise my scientific brain (honestly I do have one of these, I have qualifications to prove it and everything!) to read "a brief history of time"

First off, here's what happened in Liv's movie day: 1) The cinema was very very crowded. I thought people stay at home during Christmas! 2) I bought tickets to two movies at once, without bothering to ask if their show times collide. The first one is The Hobbit, second is Into The Woods. 3) The show times collide. The Hobbit ends almost 40 minutes after Into The Woods start. Lost five dollars. 4) I returned to the tickets booth, but most shows are sold out or almost sold out. I was meaning to also watch Interstellar and Night At The Museum but the only show times left are way too late. I was lucky I found a taxi yesterday, and the driver can't pick me up too late. So …

So, in the U.S., the biggest Television event is the Superbowl, which is this Sunday. Businesses spend millions just for a 30 second advertisement, so for some of us, it is more about watching the commericals than the game. An internet company, GoDaddy, released their ad for this year doing a parody of Budwiser's 2014 commerical featuring a puppy. This angered a lot of people saying it promotes puppy mills, so they pulled it. My question...do you guys feel the same way? Honestly, I am on the fence here and wasn't outraged about it. Sure, it might have been kind of in bad taste, but it was a parody and not meant to promote puppy mills... http://youtu.be/eH5…

Yep all those in one. Up next in my watch list: Fury, Blackhat and Mortdecai. Movie #1: Taken 3 IMDb 6.4/10; Liv's rating 5/10 Because Hollywood believes we haven't had enough of the Taken series! That being said, Taken 3 did adopt a rather new perspective than the typical "I need to save Person A in the most violent way possible". Liam Neeson once again is Bryan Mills; a middle-class, golf-playing, ex-army, single-parent, separated-but-is-getting-back-together, most protective father in the world. *Somebody* (who you'll immediately notice by the way) murdered Bryan Mills' ex-wife and staged it to look like he did it. The first stir of events start when police ru…
