I have just finished reading the Apocalypsis series (books 1-3) by Elle Casey. It is a YA post-apocalyptic series, and is really, really very good. If you are young, or young at heart, you will enjoy this, even if you have never thought of reading post-apocalyptic/dystopian books. Book four will probably be released within the next few months - waiting impatiently You can read the reviews etc here : http://www.amazon.com/Apocalypsis-Book-1-Kahayatle-ebook/dp/B008E95UOK/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1360830530&sr=1-1&keywords=Apocalypsis%3A+Book+1+%28Kahayatle%29 Another series I recently finished reading was the post-apocalyptic series "Th…

So then guys. Over the past few days Louise (my daughter) has started to watch the series 24. Now I know when we first watched these we found it to be super addictive, to the point we ended up watching silly amounts of episodes a day at one point. So what series have you become addicted to? Both now and in the past. Might be handy for others who want to find something new to start watching

I have just heard on the radio that Take That have just announced news on there 2011 tour - Tickets go on sale Friday 29th October 2010. From BBC news: Robbie Williams is to tour with Take That for the first time in 16 years when the reformed group go on a stadium tour next summer. They have announced an initial string of dates in Sunderland, Manchester, Cardiff, Dublin, Glasgow, Birmingham and London in May, June and July. Tickets go on sale on Friday. They will also take the show across Europe. The band's last UK tour - without Williams - was seen by a record-breaking one million people in 2009. Williams …

I've seen a few threads where someone's said oh I saw a husky in this film, this tv show. Well put your husky sightings on this thread and we can see who has been vigilent in their husky sightings. It might be a new episode of a soap or drama or a classic film that you've rewatched recently and realised 'hey that's a husky!' It'll be real interesting to see how many appearances our furry favourites have made on tv.

Just as the title says. Each time you watch a movie that you absolutely LOVE and you want to share with people, list it here. Then we can look it up on IMDB (Internet Movie Database) to see if it'll interest us! I'll start. I just finished watching 'Another Earth'. It was...wow! It was probably one of the best movies I've seen in the past year or so. Definitely a thinking movie! Go check it out at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1549572/

Seems like they've gone away from true horror and went different directions. A horror movie in my mind should be creepy, scary have a good plot, do well on creature-feature without relying on CG or be cheesily done-AND should have good scores and music throughout. An example would be the unedited version of the original Exorcist. The movie I'm writing this about I would recommend to you is-INSIDIOUS to me it epitomizes a good horror movie-to include the opening where it shows the name of the movie, as well as the ending-which isn't predictable-hope you guys get …

I just want to know if there are any fellow werewolf/lycanthrope fans out there besides me. When I say 'werewolf' or 'lycanthrope', I don't mean the stupid shifters in the Twilight saga. I mean the bipedal creatures that lose control of themselves, the transformation is very painful, and they live a life of suffering. I love the fact that the werewolf legend mimics what true human nature is like - we kill for sport, so do werewolves. We can be savage and brutes, just like werewolves. ANYWAY, all philosophical things aside...what are your favourite werewolf/lycanthrope movies? And why? What are you favourite books, and why? And do you have …
