We are looking for a dog guard that will fit our 1998 406 estate, a lot of the ones typically sold in pet shops don't fit due to the shape of the car...Does anyone know where i can get one, as cheap as possible! It won't be long before Suka has completely outgrown the crate in the car, and that is the largest one that fits in! Thanks in advance Sammie xxx

Recent thread made me think of this....... I'm researching some software that would enable me to convert a photograph into a machine code file which would then allow me to engrave the original picture onto a piece of wood - like a plaque I suppose. If I manage to source the software would anyone be interested? Don't expect it next week by the way!! Anyone interested e-mail me on ian@pdsdoorsets.co.uk and put Engraving as the subject of the e-mail.

sand pit wanted, child's plastic Early Learning Centre type sand pit / pool to use for Myshka to lie in (with water) to cool her down in the heat OR any ideas what can be used? Obviously the cheap inflatable paddling pools are ideal but ruled out as claws will puncture it, so .... anyone know where I can pick up a cheap 2nd hand one or a suitable alternative? I've tried the usual evilbay (!), local papers, car booties, etc.

Hello people, You may have read in my whats on thread that I am having a stall at my local gala. I am fundraising to do a 200km dog sled trek in the Arctic Circle to raise money for RNIB. I have also been selling some husky themed hand crafts which have turned out to be VERY popular so I thought I would give people the opportunity to buy some of my wonderful handy work as well as helping a good casue. Following on from a thread I posted a few weeks ago regarding engraving etc I was wondering how many people would genuinely be interested in the potential items I could produce. I've seen a demo of the software which transformed a photograph (good quality image) of a Husky into a 3D machining programme and the result was amazing. The actual quality of the carving depends on a few factors but the concept, for me at least, is exciting. One obvious option (depending on the quality of image used) is a wall clock with the face of the clock being a 3D carving of a dog - potentially your dog. Cost of such an item would be hard to say at this stag…
