Ok, Missy (aka basement cat) has never been particularly conventional when it comes to gravity and the like. This vid is a little long, but the climax is worth it

You can never please cats. Buy them a toy, they won't play with it. Buy them a nice cat basket, they won't sleep in it. Only when you throw it somewhere on the loft when they discover it two years later they MIGHT use it You might think that by now we wouldn't bother about it any more. And I should've known... Since our cats seem to like lying on the windowsill we decided to create some room for them and place a pillow on it for them to sleep on. It's just above the heating so it's cosy, warm AND has a view on the street (which they like). So we placed Wicca on it. He looked around and immediately jumped of straight into the open laptop suitca…

Hi everyone, As some of you know, I adopted a Siberian Husky(Koda) from a humane society, and had him for a week or so, and it didn't work out(He likes to attack cats). So, my co-worker adopted him into his cat free home, and he's happy as could be. Ever since I've missed and missed him. But I think I've found my so called "replacement". Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 Pic 4 His name is Kilo, and he's an Alaskan Klee Kai, 5 months, 2 weeks old. So far he's been awesome. Thought I'd share a few pictures(clicky thee links)

Highly doubt anyone here will know the person who's lost this dog but we currently have a 1-2 year old intact springer spaniel bltch in our house!! The neighbours brought her round thinking she was one of ours and pretty much dumped her on us We're happy to look after her until the vets open tomorrow but I figured I might as well try to see if anyone knows her owners in the mean time! She's a beautiful dog, quite chunkey and obviously well loved and looked after, her coat is so soft Someone out there is going to be really missing her. She's really well behaved and is getting on great with our three dogs We've given her a bit of food and she's drinking a lot but she's a…

Last October before I knew I was getting Kiska I decided I wanted a pet while at university. I wanted something cheap to buy and maintain, easy to care for, something that wouldn't live for much longer than 2 years so I don't need to think about it after I've graduated, and something I've never had before.....MICE! I ended up buying 4, 2 males and 2 females, and had plans to breed them because I knew a few other people that wanted some, and my college needs some for breeding too, so I had the chance to make back some money from them One of my males, Harvey, developed a horrible skin rash/mange type disease and despite trips to the vets wasn't improving. I decided it wou…

Whisper used to be 65 lbs until we got him neutered at 3 years of age. He went from 63lbs to 104 within a few month. At first I did not even notice, I guess because I see him everyday and he is kind of fluffy. It got so bad that he would start pulling his muscles in his back legs, probably from getting up and his little legs could not handle all the weight. Anyhow we put him on a diet and we got him down to 86lbs. That was great, but I was still trying to get him lower to maybe 75lbs. But it did not work. Just recently he started gaining weight again, which was partly my fault I guess.....he is spoiled rotten and he does have the cutest begging face. It was always hard fo…

Ah, this brightened up my day! While I was bringing the post today, I got approached by the neighbour of where Glala and Dana live (she knows me). She asked if I have seen her dog, an old golden retriever, as he ran out of the house when someone opened the door. Something he has never done before. She looked very worried. Mind you, this dog is 13 years old! I hadn't seen him, but I'll keep an eye out for him - I said. So I continued my route and guess what? Three minutes later he suddenly stood in front of me when I got around the corner. He stood next to a very busy road and looked somewhat confused to the other side He had clearly no idea where h…

I had the fortune today of meeting this big hunk of love. A female Akita named Kita. About an hour ago a group of kids from across the road were banging and yelling at our front door, mum answered, they asked if our dog was out because theres a malamute running around the street. I said to them does it have short hair and look kind of like a german shepherd, they said yes, so i told them its most likely the neighbours a few doors down on the right. (they have a mal x gsd mix, lovely dog) A few minutes later, i hear all the children cheering and stomping around the street still. I look out the window, and they're all chasing this poor dog around th…

Not a Husky, but, we can all pretend it was one. Now, there are a lot of good ads about dogs, but, yeah, this is the best one I've ever seen.

Any other horse owners out there?? If so, what breed do you own? Do you show, compete, or just ride for fun?? What style do you ride?? I will go first. I have one horse, an Arabian/Paint gelding named Buckshot. I am a Barrel Racer. I usually ride western but I also love to ride English. My favorite way to ride though is bare back!! Heres my baby. Heres me, showing a horse that I used to lease from my club leader. I think I was like 9 or 10. I was the only one showing an Arabian in western pleasure and we even beat some of the quarter horses!! We came in 5th out of 10 or so horses. He was one of t…

Hey guys, a friend of mine is having some issues with her big male rottweiler. Does anyone know of a good rotti forum for her to go on? She's searching for one now, but it's hard to pick through the crappy ones. Or has anyone on here had experience with the breed? Thanks ! <3 Cass.

For a while my cat, Semafoor, always pawed at me when he though he needs some extra attention. This is especially annoying when you are behind the computer playing a game! But it seems that he decided to change strategy today There is no way for me to get around him anymore, when I call his name he turns around and starts purring. Yeah, now it's really impossible to ignore him! He's too smart for his own good!

We are redecorating one of the main rooms in our flat and the ladder was left up in there. This is what I saw when I came into the room. I don't know many animals cats or dogs that will actually climb a ladder, but weirdo Dylan knows no bounds. He wasn't to sure about climbing down though so gave up and jumped in the end.

I'm so stoked! It's 100% official, just got an email back from the SPCA, Elijah is mine!!! I'm picking him up tomorrow Any name suggestions? I think 'Elijah' is to long and not very masculine sounding. My boyfriend loves it though, either that or Leo. I like Kane but my boyfriend hates that name I get the final say because he is going to be my dog (my boyfriend finally caved since I've wanted one since we first started going out three years ago, and have been looking at different breeds ever since) So any name suggestions? I was thinking a two syllable name tops, and it has to be manly! This boy is suppose to get up to near 100lbs…
