Can dogs be Bulimic? Seriously dudes. Because Teddy seems to eat, then try and MAKE himself sick. Believe me, he's doing it on purpose. Now he's just drank loads of water and throw it all back up. What the hell is wrong with him? He's been on some medication that we thought was making him ill, so we took him off it. It was only anti inflammatory stuff and didnt "need" it, it was just in case/just to prevent a flare up of his dodgy paw. So its not that still making him sick. And in any case, for the last year or so, that i can remember/have been taking notice, he's always tried making himself sick after eating. Its not because he eats too much, because he'd do t…

This is my American Pit Bull Terrier Koopa from under 7 weeks old to a year old. Koopa is very much loved, spoiled, and rotten He loves everyone he meets. He also loves our other pets, canine and others lol. He absolutly loves our cats, he let our kitten try to nurse on him when she was 8 weeks old. We also have a cat that is over a year old who tries to suckle from his shoulder, he just sits there and doesn't give a care in the world. He's such a sweetie, when we brought home a tiny kitten found in the middle of they road, not in the best of health, Koopa laid right beside his little bed watching over the kitten. He also loves our ferrets lol. I love all dogs and of cou…

I'm really curious if anyone on here has one lol I'm totally blown by Diesel's energy level even after three months of having him it hasn't lessened one bit. He's insane lol he goes for two walks a day in the morning and at night, plays at my dad's for 4 hours 3 to 4 times a week and has Kiana to run him into the ground but he STILL acts like he has no bottom to that energy level of his. He's approximately 3-4yrs old according to the shelter. I've enrolled him in obedience classes to deal with some other behaviors and hopefully will help with his energy. Here is why I'm curious though. I've talked to a few people who have a cross like this and they have all sa…

I'm sorry if this is a lil' bit off-topic but I can't find any other place to share this =( Soo~ just tell me if I violate any rules for posting this thread, 'kay? =P So there's this dog shelter that gets little help and attention from the world. It is located in Bali, and their goal is to rehabilitate and re-home every Bali dog they can find. In case you don't know, Bali is also an island of dogs. Dogs are everywhere, but unfortunately most of them are unhealthy. A great deal of Bali dogs were put to sleep because of rabies a few years ago. But up until now, the Balinese government didn't allow any export/import of dogs. So to make a long story short, no dogs …

So I haven’t seen Koopa (pit bull) do this lately but for a week or so he was doing something kind of odd. Koopa and Bear get along great, they play all the time. Well here recently Koopa started humping him, which I know isn’t odd and it’s a dominance thing, but here comes the weird part. He’ll also lie down and start sucking on Bear’s fur around his chest, neck and behind his front leg. Now WTF is that about?? <----- Weird boy

Teddy can be food aggressive sometimes... and he sits staring at us when we're eating, begging for food. If you try and move him, he gets grumpy and growls.... any idea how we can sort this out? Ive been telling him for ages and ages to move away when we're eating, and he does. But other people in the house arent consistent :/

Hi all, I am in a bit of a dilema, this time its not husky related but horse related. You all know how much I love all my furbabies horses included. Well my dilema is whether or not to report someone to the RSPCA for neglect of their horse, here is the reason why? The horse is a lovely gelding when we were able to turn them out in the summer field, the owner had him clipped and let him go out without a rug on, this was ok as it was when we had the nice warm sunny days. A few days later we see them chasing him around the field to try to catch him to no avail, when asked how come as he is normally one that bugs you to come in, they told me he had s…

He'd been limping on his front paw for the last sort of, week and a bit and it wasnt getting any better. So we took him to the vets and they couldnt find anything wrong with it. But gave him some anti inflamatory medication anyway. Aaaaaand, its made him reeaally sick. He cant hold anything down. He just keeps throwing everything he eats up, and even smelling food makes him throw up bile. :/

Well earlier tonight we had an incident that could have turned out bad. My computer chair broke while I was sitting in it and I fell back. Wasn’t hurt but the computer is next to the ferret cage and play pen. I apparently hit the pin scooting it away from the cage. A few moments pass and I’m back in a new chair. Well we hear the dog’s playing; well we thought it was the dogs. Koopa was sitting in a chair while Bear was casing something, didn’t see what. Then out of the corner of my eye I see something moving beside me and feel something furry under my feet. It’s Scuttle our white ferret. I pick him up to find Skooma the sable ferret unde…

Was wondering if any other HO members have horses and compete like myself? I have a 16.3hh Iron Grey 5year old Dutch warmblood called Kobey-Ella at the moment who is my princess... I used to have a 16.3hh Dun Irish Sports Horse called Huey but regrettably sold him a couple of years ago I compete in SJ, Dressage and XC when ive got the balls lol. Gladly Kobey-Ella is scared of pretty much everything so we wont be tearing round a XC course wondering if im going to survive to the end or not! Pics are attached - it be nice to hear from other horsey husky owners and how their husky copes around the yard and with the horses - im looking in …

Okay so I've had aquariums in the past...but I've never had so much trouble keeping pretty basic fishes alive... They are my sons fishes...and as over two weeks they've all come from the same store I'm really considering going to a different store for fishes. Suggestions...thoughts? These are not exotic sorts of fish...we're talking goldfish and Mollies...

Just happened to see this breed on the AKC website. They look like white huskies! But I guess they are really rare and only in Japan, well most all of them. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/k/kishuken.htm

There are a few reasons why I believe my cat thinks he's a husky, but his latest "move" really convinced me he thinks he is I came into my room and he was actually sleeping like this. No way I could wake him up, even with the (pretty loud) click-sound my camera makes
