We also own a black lab called meg she is 13 year old an the most chilled out dog anyone could wish for . Yesterday I had to take her to see the vet cos she has a problem with her throat ,she has a paralized Larix on one side and an enlarged gullet( sarcofix is the right name I think) . Anyway she had a bad night on Friday so I took her to the vets some fluid had gone into her lungs an she had a temp an a lil bit of pneumonia , so she's on a coarse of antibiotics an some medicine that she has to have before her food to coat her throat so her food goes down easier an in the right place . She is a lot better today however an she just plods along at her own pace an just gets…

I have an 11 month old min pin/dachshund mix named Lily and she takes to training really well. There's just a couple problems I'm having with her. I bring her to work almost every day. The only issue with that is that she likes to bother everyone while they're eating. If someone in the office has food, she stands up next to their chair and paws at them begging for food. She refuses to get out of their face. I try telling her no and nudging her but she won't stop. How can I fix this? Lily needs to learn her doggy manners, especially since she comes to work all the time! Her other issue is barking all the time! If we go out for walks or even in the car she will bark at eve…

We have just had the fright of our lives!! We heard an almighty bang against the patio door, and I saw a flash of white..........Kitty the cat has just run full pelt and jumped against the patio doors.......they were closed!!! Oops my bad, I usually close the curtains when it gets dark, I think as they were open she thought the doors were open too!! Well she is now sat on the sofa none the worse for it, but I bet she doesn't try that again any time soon!! lol

Thought I'd share my other hobby and pets my 6x2x2ft fish tank and my OHs standard 3ft tank. My 6ft has now got 3 black tiger oscars, 1 albino tiger Oscar, 3 convicts, 4 albino convicts, 2 bristle nose sucker fish and the one that doesn't fit in but thinks he's one of them the goldfish! Haha And my OHs tank has only got my Green terror in it now as he was bashing my Oscars so hes in there for now until either my oscars and convicts get big enough to fight back or I decide to sell him I love his colours but I don't want my oscars bashed up and killed or my OH wants to keep him in his tank but he only wanted tropical fish so don't think that will work haha …

As I am sure most of you know Cheyenne was my fiance and I's first pet together apart from the naked mole rats. She and another cat were abandoned by her owners when they moved out. No one is for sure how long they were stuck in the house alone but the vet thought quite a long time with all her health problems. Well a new family moved in and were allergic to the cats and had to get rid of them right away. The called the local humane society in that town and they said they were so full they would be put down as soon as they were brought in, especially the black one because most people do not like black animals. Well the new family did not want that to happen and set about …

Well, hes not a pup anymore. He's turning 5 this year. >_< Time flies. Haha. He's an Australian Shepherd mix that I picked up off the street when he was about 4 months old. Since my recent move, I had to leave him with my parents. Such a hard decision, but it all worked out in the end. He now has a crazy play buddy. His best friend Dooney who was stolen a couple years ago. :'( He likes to go "Lizard hunting."

Was wondering what other pets you guys had. Besides my dogs, we have 3 rabbits that belong to my nieces and nephew. 3 ducks that are not pets and about 23 chickens in our half acre land. If this doesn't belong here feel free to move it.

Hello, Mishka also share her mummy with two other companions so I thought I'd show them to you. This is Playboy, he 6 years old. Mishka and him didn't get off to best of starts but once Playboy had showed her he is the boss around here () they have put up with each other. (They love each other really ) This is Spyro he is a 2year old bearded dragon (1 year on the first picture). Him and Mishka will stare at each other for hours without moving an inch. I'm not really sure what goes in their minds when they do.
