SOLAR ECLIPSE: On Monday, Jan. 26th, the Moon will pass in front of the sun producing an annular "ring of fire" eclipse. This is not a total eclipse; the Moon will cover only 93% of the sun's surface. Nevertheless, the Moon's dead-center transit across the solar disk will produce a sight of rare beauty for observers along the "path of annularity." Best views are to be had from islands in Indonesia where the ring of fire will appear to sink into the ocean at sunset. Meanwhile, in Australia, southeast Asia, southern parts of India and South Africa, observers will experience an off-center partial eclipse. Crescent-shaped sunbea…

On the first of January I that my biggest new years resolution was to become more motivated. I have loads of small DIY jobs that need doing in the house and other big DIY jobs that I want to do myself that I can be proud of. On top of that I am currently studying microsoft certifications and so I want to pass all three that I'm currently working on in the next 6 month. How I'm doing it? Well the first thing I decided is that I am going to be more 'Do it now' rather than 'I'll sort it later' and Im finding that I now have very little I have to do as I've already done it. Its leaving me more time to start new projects in the house. I;m also leaving myself notes …

My lovely hubby told me last night I can keep one of tala's puppies . I was going to all along just didn't tell him and now he thinks it's his idea ... women are just too clever ! I got straight on t'internet and started looking for names ... I came up with this one for a boy if thats what we decide to keep . The name is Chaska and is Navajo meaning "first born son " ... very appropriate I thought , just need to find a girls name now in case we keep a girl . Unless we keep one of each ....now there's a thought

Which mobile phone do you all have, and are you into all this touchscreen & smartphone jobbie? I got an HTC Touch dual around 12 month ago, which is a touch screen windows mobile based phone ideal for a geek like myself lol . problem is that I tend to find the features dont get used and they become nothing more than an oversized mobile with a touchscreen that deteriorates with age.

Well I'm guessing we all drink on here. Ya's all sound like piss heads anyways LOL.. So what is your preferred drink? Personally I tend to stick to either Lager or Red wine, but very occasionally drink brandy. Usually on the heavier nights LOL

Subject: SHERIFF JOE IS AT IT AGAIN! You all remember Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona , who painted the jail cells pink and made the inmates wear pink prison garb. Well......... SHERIFF JOE IS AT IT AGAIN! Oh, there's MUCH more to know about Sheriff Joe! Maricopa County was spending approx. $18 million dollars a year on stray animals, like cats and dogs. Sheriff Joe offered to take the department over, and the County Supervisors said okay. The animal shelters are now all staffed and operated by prisoners. They feed and care for the strays. Every animal in his care is taken out and walked twice daily. He…

Obviously we (try, in some cases, lol) teach our huskies different lessons and commands. As alot of us know Huskies are also great teachers to us. So I though I would post this on here so we can all put on what our Sibe/s have taught us. My 3 taught me all about love and how important it is being in a pack.

First off Hello! We have only just registered and would like to give our Thanks for such a great site! I'm Chris and my wife is Danni. We have had Tara for about a year. She joined our family when she was 6 months old where we took her off the hands of a family who couldn't handle her! (They didn't have much of a kitchen left and every skirting board was chewed). But since we've had her she has been fantastic from day one! My question i ask is whether another Husky would be a good idea? Would there be much conflict if we introduced a puppy into the fold or would our Husky enjoy having another dog around? We know she's fantastic around other dogs b…
