I just got my Husky puppy yesterday and I've got to say, it's absolutely amazing. She can be quite a handful, and is quite a bit like an actual baby (keeping me up at night to go potty every 2 hours, etc.) but she's absolutely worth it.
She's only 5 weeks old, not papered, but I'm okay with that, breeding nor shows are my intentions for her. I paid a rehoming fee of $400, however the asking price was originally $600. I got to see mama and dad there at the house, and she kinda picked me :)
The breeder (first litter he's ever had) was heartbroken to see her go, but is happy she went to a good home and wants to keep in touch and someday soon get all of the puppies together for a reunion someday.
    Her name is Athena :)

Hi and [IMG] - what a cutie Athena is! :heartbeat:

She's a bit young to leave her mom and littermates, so it's likely that in addition to being up at all hours for a while to take her out, you'll also have to teach her some of the other things she would have learned from her mom and siblings. First off will likely be how to not bite too hard... Here are a couple of links that may save you some sore spots and bandaids:

Pictures don't even do her justice :) Yes, I do think she was a bit too young. For some reason mommy and daddy were separated when I was there, he mentioned they don't like people other than them around the puppies and didn't want to risk them getting upset when we were there.
I have a feeling she's been separated for a while, and he said she has been mixture of formula and dry food. I bought some weaning formula just in case but she's got all of her teeth and she seems to have no issues eating puppy food. I am worried about her getting the proper nutrients though.
Thank you :) She bites a little when she's playful, but she doesn't bite very hard, unless she's snapping playfully.
Thank you for the links too, I'll check them out :)
What is the average age they should leave? 7 to 8 weeks?

most responsible breeder would never let their puppies leave before they're 8 months old :) still, a special case might occur like a sick mommy or bitch died after birth. If these cases occur the puppies would leave a few weeks earlier

Try giving her the formula for now, and make sure that you get a good quality, meat-based puppy food for best nutrition. I've given young puppies some raw food (mostly chicken wings) at that age, as well, usually at a separate time from when they've had kibble. There is a lot of info in the "Food & Diet" section on various types of kibble, as well as feeding raw diets...

It's usually recommended that puppies stay with mom and their littermates until they're around 8 weeks old. I usually try to make sure that my puppies are totally weaned at around 7 weeks (So that they can receive vaccines when they leave at around 8 weeks. My vet says that the vaccine won't provide any benefit until at least 7 days after the last time they've had their mom's milk, because of the immune factors in it). While from 6-8 weeks they aren't with their mom all the time, she is with them part of the time to help teach them things they need to know about being a dog and what behavior is acceptable. That time with her and with littermates is very valuable, as well, as they learn that when they bite too hard, it hurts, and their siblings won't play with them (they learn to inhibit their bite)! They also learn a lot about canine body language, and how to communicate with other dogs - something that's really difficult for us, as humans, to teach them!

You won't want to have her around most other dogs until she's at least around 12 weeks old and has had a couple vaccination series in her, but if you can find a good puppy training class, where they require proof of vaccinations and supervise the interactions carefully, it can be a real help. Your pup can interact with other puppies in relative safety (you need to make sure that none of the puppies is being a bully toward the rest - and Siberians can be that way!), and it's a very good resource for getting ideas from an experienced trainer on any problems you might have. You can also get advice here, as well, of course, but it's much easier to give really relevant advice when you can see what puppy is doing for yourself, and kind of experiment with trying different things on the spot, so to speak! :p

Should I buy some formula or should I try and just give her the weaning formula I bought?
She gulps down the puppy food without any issue, is it bad for her to continue eating the kibble? I'd hate to complicate her diet by feeding her too many different things, or should that not be an issue?
The bag of kibble I bought was Beneful puppy food, it is a good brand isn't it?
I've only had her for a day but she's growing like a weed! lol

Should I keep her away from dogs in general or would ones that I know for sure have their shots be okay?

Just use up the weaning formula you have, and that should be fine. My puppies at that age would be eating a fair amount of kibble, and be getting less and less milk from their mom... Beneful isn't a very good food - take a look here: http://www.beneful.com/Dog-Food/Healthy-Growth/
Corn, corn gluten, wheat and soy are all grains that aren't very nutritious for dogs - they tend to not digest them well, and often have/develop allergies to them. Additionally, by products can be any body part from the chicken - including feet, beaks and feathers! Looking at the kibble, I can see that there are food colorings in it, and there is sugar, as well - the one makes the food more appealing to humans, the other to pets, and neither is a good ingredient in the food. There are a lot of ingredients with chemical names that I'm not sure what they are - some will be vitamins added back in, others are likely salts to improve taste, and still others are likely to be preservatives.

What you want in a food is for the majority of the first 5 ingredients to be proteins from meat - you want it to be the meat or the meat meal, and you want the source to be identified specifically: Chicken meal, chicken, fish meal, fish, lamb... The meal is actually more concentrated, as the water has been removed, so for example, chicken meal is actually a better ingredient than chicken to have as one of the first in the list of ingredients. Although many people prefer grain-free foods, they can be harder to find; rice, barley and oat are generally better grains, although brewer's rice is a cheap by-product. Potatoes, carrots, peas and other veggies are usually good ingredients, as well.

Have a look through the Food and Diet section - there is a lot of good advice in it! There are a number of foods you'll see people have liked and recommended, as well as information on feeding RAW. Generally, if you're going to feed kibble, choose either a good quality puppy food or a food for all life stages, such as Taste of the Wild. Some of the foods promoted as being "Premium" aren't, so look at the ingredients. The better quality foods are often more expensive, but you'll find that with the better quality (meat, not fillers like corn, wheat, and soy) ingredients that the puppy (or any dog) needs to eat less and will also poop less! I use a food called Native (by Kent feeds -found at feed or farm stores) which is pretty decent, and the price is also pretty good - I pay around $40 for a 40# bag, and the food is rated 4/5 stars. They have a puppy formula, but you could also use either the Native 3 or 4, if it was a food you wanted to try...

Welcome and congratulations. Nothing in life is quite as fulfilling as a puppy. I totally agree with Sutsibe in the food. Beniful is not very good in any respect. You may have to go elsewhere other than a grocer to find a quality food. Just look at the ingredients, and avoid corn, wheat, and soy for sure.
